Dentist Neslihan Yamalıoğlu
President

Dentist Neslihan Yamalıoğlu

Born in Ankara in 1959, she began her education in Sivas due to her father’s assignment and graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 1981. She continues to practise in her clinic in Üsküdar, Istanbul. Since the establishment of the professional chamber, she has served on its disciplinary and supervisory boards and was the Üsküdar District Representative for many years. Most recently, she served as a member and rapporteur of the Turkish Dental Association High Disciplinary Board.

Dr. Dentist Taylan Akça

Born in Trabzon in 1980, he graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry and completed his doctorate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Başkent University in 2009. At İDO, he chaired the student branch and served on commissions, and was Secretary General of an international student association. He took part in Turkish Dental Association congresses and served as an Istanbul delegate. From 2018 to 2022, he worked as an investigating dentist at İDO. He has been Rapporteur of the Disciplinary Board since 2024. He is married and has one child.

Assistant Professor Berkman Albayrak, DDS, PhD

He graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 2015 and completed his specialty training in Prosthodontics at Atatürk University. He conducted research as a visiting scholar at the University of Illinois Chicago. After receiving his specialist title in 2019, he continued his academic career at Bahçeşehir University. He also practises in his private clinic. He is active on national and international platforms and is a member of several professional associations. He is married and has twin daughters.

Dentist Derya Öznam

Born in Ankara in 1975, she graduated from Gazi University in 1999. For more than ten years at the Istanbul Chamber of Dentists, she served as a district representative and commission member, chaired and served on committees at Turkish Dental Association and FDI congresses, served on the 18th-term Board of Directors, and joined the Turkish Dental Association’s health tourism and advertising and promotion commissions. She has practised in her own clinic in Gaziosmanpaşa for 24 years. She is married and has two children.

Specialist Dentist Merve Şeker

Born in Sivas in 1992, she graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 2015. She completed her specialty training at Marmara University in 2021 and works as an employed dentist at a private dental clinic.
