ORAL AND DENTAL HEALTH CENTERS (ADSM)

Oral and Dental Health Centers may be established by a company owned by one or more dentists authorized to practice privately, or by a company in which at least 51 percent of the shares are held by a partnership of dentists.

When opening an Oral and Dental Health Center, at least 51 percent of the company’s shares must be held by a dentist or dentists.

The remaining 49% may be held by an investor who is not a dentist.

  • Operating Permit: To be obtained from the Provincial Health Directorate in accordance with the Regulation on Private Healthcare Institutions Providing Oral and Dental Health Services dated October 6, 2022.
  • Application from Partner Dentists Notifying of the Opening
  • Petition from dentists who will work as insured employees and SGK employment registration notifications

Requirements for Members of the Istanbul Dental Association Regarding Their Employment Status

Our members are required to submit a petition to the Association in the event of opening, closing, or relocating any type of healthcare institution or organization, or in the event of starting or ending employment with social security coverage

In the event of a dentist’s employment or termination of employment under social security coverage, the following must be attached: the employment contract between the healthcare institution and the dentist; the Social Security Institution (SGK) enrollment or termination notice; or a letter from the relevant healthcare institution—signed by the responsible director and bearing the institution’s official seal—confirming that the dentist in question is employed or has left the institution.
