Personal Accident Insurance Has Been Renewed
Organized by the Turkish Dental Association and administered by the Dental Chambers, our member colleagues are now covered under the “Individual Accident Insurance and Accident-Related Disability Insurance” program.
According to the protocol signed between the Turkish Dental Association and BNP Paribas Cardif Pension, the insurance coverage period will begin on July 1, 2026, and end on July 1, 2027. There is no age limit for Individual Accident Insurance.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR CLAIMS UNDER THE TDB INDIVIDUAL ACCIDENT POLICY
The dentist who has been in an accident must file a claim with the insurance company within 20 days following the accident.
In the event of a claim, you may first contact the following contact information to obtain information and details regarding your claim. Additionally, by completing the documents listed below and submitting them to the Claims & Provisions Director specified below, your case will be opened and forwarded to the insurance company. All payments and details will be communicated to you via the email address you provide, and all relevant information will be shared separately.

The information and documents required for your Individual Accident Insurance and Accident-Related Disability Insurance applications are listed below:
A. Death:
- Accident report,
- If no accident occurred, a statement from the legal heirs indicating the cause of death
- If it is a traffic accident, an alcohol report,
- Death certificate,
- Burial permit,
- Postmortem examination report or autopsy report,
- Certificate of inheritance,
- the original “DECLARATION OF EXPRESS CONSENT REGARDING THE PROCESSING OF HEALTH DATA” signed by the victim’s legal heirs,
- For natural persons who are entitled to the data: Copies of ID cards,
- For attorneys: Copy of ID card, Bar Association card, power of attorney,
- For requests from foreign nationals: Article 6 of the MASAK Regulation published in the Official Gazette No. 26751 dated January 9, 2008, applies
- The rights holder’s account information
- Additional documents may be requested if deemed necessary.
B. Permanent Disability:
- Accident report,
- Alcohol report (if it is a traffic accident),
- A report from a fully equipped state hospital indicating the degree of permanent disability,
- Discharge summary,
- The original “DECLARATION OF EXPRESS CONSENT REGARDING THE PROCESSING OF HEALTH DATA” document, signed by the victim’s legal heirs in accordance with Articles 5, 6, and 8 of the “Law on the Protection of Personal Data,”
- For natural persons entitled to benefits: Copies of ID cards,
- For attorneys: Copy of ID card, Bar Association card, power of attorney,
- For requests from foreign nationals: Article 6 of the MASAK Regulation, published in the Official Gazette No. 26751 dated January 9, 2008, applies
- Account information of the rights holder
- Additional documents may be requested if deemed necessary.
C. Injury—Daily Compensation:
- Accident report,
- Alcohol report (if it is a traffic accident),
- Medical summary,
- Medical treatment invoice,
- The original “DECLARATION OF EXPRESS CONSENT REGARDING THE PROCESSING OF HEALTH DATA,” signed by the victim’s legal heirs in accordance with Articles 5, 6, and 8 of the “Law on the Protection of Personal Data,”
- For natural persons entitled to compensation: Copies of ID cards,
- For attorneys: Copy of ID card, bar association card, power of attorney,
- For requests from foreign nationals: Article 6 of the MASAK Regulation, published in the Official Gazette No. 26751 dated January 9, 2008, applies
- Account information of the rights holder
- Additional documents may be requested if deemed necessary.
For Group D Individual Accident claims, the following are also required:
- Workplace Accident Report,
- List of individuals included in the policy,
- Documents proving employment at the relevant workplace on the date of the accident
PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE COVERAGE
• Death Resulting from an Accident: 30,000 TL
• Permanent Disability: 30,000 TL
• Medical Expenses: 15,000 TL
• Annual Maximum Limit: 20,000,000 TL
ACCIDENT-RELATED DISABILITY INSURANCE COVERAGE
Incapacity to Work Due to an Accident: 3,500 TL per day (Maximum 60 days)
A dentist who has been in an accident must file a claim with the insurance company within 20 days following the accident.
Geographic Coverage and Terms of Application:
- Coverage is valid 24/7.
- Earthquake coverage is included.
- Coverage is valid worldwide, except in countries under embargo or where there is a risk of war.
- There is no age restriction.
- Dentists are covered under the policy starting from the date they register with their professional association.
- Claims must be filed within 20 days of the date of the accident.
- Reports from public or private healthcare institutions regarding the accident and inability to work are valid.
- A single physician’s report may authorize a maximum of 10 days of sick leave at a time. If a follow-up examination is specified, the total duration may be extended, provided it does not exceed 20 days. A medical board report is required for sick leave exceeding 20 days.
- The total duration of incapacity for work is limited to 60 days per year.
